I noticed a while ago that it is possible to 'force quit' an application in another way than is already documented (Command-Option-Escape or Control-click an active app in the dock).

Ähem, ich kannte bislang noch nicht mal die kommentierte Tastenkombination, hab das bislang immer brav über die Aktivitäts-Anzeige gemacht ( nein, nichtmal über die Shell ) … Naja, man lernt nie aus.
