Ich muss gestehen, so ganz habe ich das Prinzip noch nicht verstanden:

The new TouchSTAR pSeries17, first shown at the Apple Expo in Paris, is the first in the new line of TouchSTAR products for Apple's portable and desktop LCD displays. TouchSTAR products allow Apple users to easily add or remove touchscreen functionality to their displays without system modification using a patent-pending slipcover design. The TouchSTAR frames are made of durable aluminium that matches Apple's designs.

Ich meine aber, mann bekommt so eine Art Alu-Überzieher für das Display. Dazu noch einen Treiber und schwupps hat man ein Powerbook mit Touchscreen. Eigentlich eine sehr nette Idee. Ich bin ja mal gespannt, wie das im Deatil aussieht und was so ein Ding für ein 12″ kosten soll.
