Noch eine kleine Urlaubssammlung:

Die GD Library kann man prima zum manipulieren von Bildern benutzen. In der Vergangenheit habe ich dei Bibrary meist zum dynamischen Erzeugen von Menü-Bildchen benutzt. Wer GD benötigt, der kann diese ganz einfach mit Fink mit installieren. Wer spezielle Bedürfnisse hat oder einfach mal sehen will, wie sowas geht: Compiling GD on Mac OS X HOWTO.

Wer sich an der Shell nicht so gut auskennt, aber mal schnuppern möchte: AFP548 stellt ein paar der am häufigsten benutzten Shell-Tools vor. apropos kannte ich bislang noch gar nicht. nslookup benutzt man heute meines Wissen nicht mehr, man sollte eher dig verwenden.

Ich habe je schon mehrfach betont, dass ich kein Freund vom vi bin. Trottzdem oder gerade deshalb ist das vi – cheatsheet ganz brauchbar. ( Dank an und via macosx.delta-c )
