[Thanx to and via Fraser Speirs ]

I've also been reading "Pragmatic Project Automation" by Mike Clark, and I'm about half way through it. (Downloadable PDF's rule. I also bought the physical book as well.. don't ask why.) I really like it so far, it has inspired me to finish up the last little bit of automation for VP that I didn't have done yet- the disk creation process. I've got a shell script "vpbuild.sh" that pulls it out of subversion, performs a little bit of sed magic on the Info.plist file, builds the plugins, sets the bundle bits, builds the app

CamelBones is about giving you more options for your Cocoa development. Objective-C is really quite nice - but it's not a perfect fit for every situation. There are occasions when you might find yourself saying "this would be so much simpler in Perl," or find yourself writing functionality that already exists in CPAN. Or, you might be reluctant to learn a new language, when all you really want to do is provide a Aqua interface to a Perl script you've already written.

After you update to Xcode 1.5, if you've bookmarked files from the locally-stored Xcode documentation library (/Developer/Documentation), you'll find that those bookmarks are broken. You can make them work again from the Terminal:
% cd /Developer
% ln -s ADC\ Reference\ Library/documentation Documentation
