InforMac ( wurde in der letzten C’T kurz vorgestellt ) is an AppleSystemProfiler-like utility that displays information about your computer such as hardware, software and settings. With InforMac you can save those information as a file, protect the personal data it contains, and read this file on any other computer.

In den Kommentaren wird darauf verwiesen, dass der Panther-eigene Systemprofil (Apfel-Menü – Über diesen Mac – Weitere Informationen) ebenfalls diese Informationen bereitstellt, was auch stimmt. InforMac sieht mE aber etwas netter aus und gibt (für i- und PowerBook-User ja durchaus interessant) noch aus, wie lebendig der Akku noch ist.
